One of our "signature" wines, with grapes from our Estate Vineyard. This "Super Tuscan" has 66% Sangiovese, and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2005 Serenata is fruit forward with flavors of berries and spice, and has a wonderful mouth feel. A wonderful medium bodied wine, that will complement many foods. 56 cases

Grapes are from 40+ year old vines. Beautiful relatively dark Pinot Noir. Aromas of black grapes, plums, and some floral character. Wonderful fruit flavors with black cherry, currant, raspberry, and plum. Well structured with nice mouth-feel and lingering finish

From a vineyard in Monterey county that was planted in 1968. Traditional Pinot Noir characteristics.

Interesting fruit forward aromas with a hint of spice, leading to a spicy, fruity and lush Zin. There are hints of smoke, cherry and vanilla, and it opens into a nice full bodied Zinfandel.

Estate grown on hillside vines that are hand tended and nurtured to bring the fruit to full ripeness. The very low yields help to make a very rich and concentrated Zin. Gaze at the beautiful deep color, followed by the fruit forward aroma. The flavors are dense and full of fruit, with different berries and cherries. We used about 13% new oak, which helps give this Zin complexity and full flavors from start to finish.

Once again we blended 5 varietals for our recently released 2007 Ranchita Red. This wine was just bottled mid September, is already very well received, and will only get better with more time in the bottle. The blend uses Sangiovese, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Merlot, and Petite Sirah. A beautiful wine with complex fruit forward flavors, a pleasant mouth feel, and nice lingering finish.

This unique wine is from a vineyard in San Benito county that was planted in the early 1900s. Developed by a horticulturist named Dr Pfeffer in the late 1800s. A nice light wine with hints of pepper.

We added 8% Malbec & 7% Petite Verdot for depth & complexity. This wine has our unique Cabernet aroma & flavor characteristics. Beautiful color is followed by cherry & blackberry aromas and flavors, with hints of chocolate on the long finish.

New release bottled 09/10. Estate grown in an area with decomposed granite (dg) above the calcareous soil. Same unique aroma & flavor as the popular 2005 & 2006 vintages. Dark and beautiful color, with blackberry, cherry, black currant, & plum aromas & flavors -- with hints of chocolate on the finish.

This bordeaux wine is normally used as a blender. It tasted so good while in the barrel, we bottled about 23 cases due to "barrel tasters" requests. A beautiful wine with a unique garnet color, nice aroma, and full bodied fruit forward flavors. Very good to drink now, and will age very well.

Another Bordeaux variety that does very well in our climate, and is becoming very popular. Often used as a blender, we decided to bottle 2 barrels (about 45 cases) because everyone loved the way it tasted in the barrel. The wine has a dark purple color, and is a full-bodied wine with ripe plum and blackberry fruit flavors.

A wonderful Bordeaux blend with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 15% each Petit Verdot & Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Recently released, and rave reviews so far.

A blend with 50% Grenache, & 50% Petite Sirah, following our very popular 2005 Fusion. We also call this wine "Beauty and the Beast," with the beautiful and elegant Grenache helping to tame the Petite Sirah. This unique blend is fruit forward with raspberry and blackberry aromas and flavors, and is very food friendly

Grapes from our Estate Vineyard -- a small block that has produced a deep, dark, wonderful Petite Sirah. This wine was just bottled 9/23, and is already showing so well, we decided it should be released. You will be amazed at the color, and further enticed by the aroma. The wine is full bodied, and the fruit and berries show very well. There is a nice complexity, and the tannins will soften with age.

Petite Sirah from our Estate Vineyard, planted in 1970. The wine shows a beautiful deep, dark color, with fruitful aromas of blackberries and cherries. It is dry on the palate with a rich and full-bodied, rounded flavor, and finishes with well defined chalky tannins that will soften with further aging. Our 2006 OV PS won a 4 Star Gold Medal at the Orange County Fair.

This Port style wine has multiple vintages - 2005, 06,07,08, and 2009, and has 20% Petite Sirah. Made in the traditional Port style, and fortified with top shelf brandy. We harvest before the grapes turn to raisins, to preserve the varietal characteristics.
